Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are, has extended his congratulations to Davido and his wife, Chioma Rowland, on their wedding.

The veteran talent manager prayed for God’s blessings upon the couple’s union.

On his Instagram story, Are wrote: “Congratulations to the latest couple in town, Mr & Mrs Adeleke @davido @thechefchi. God bless your home. #Chivido2024.”

GoodLife reports that a cross-section of Nigerian celebrities attended Davido’s wedding in Lagos on Tuesday.

Among the celebrities were Don Jazzy, PSquare, Patoranking, Zlatan Ibile, B-Red, Ini Edo, Victor Osimhen, Jay Jay Okocha, and many others.

However, Wizkid was conspicuously missing from the event.

Nigerian Gospel Musician Kicks The Bucket

The Nigerian Gospel music industry is in mourning following the death of a popular Ondo State-based Gospel artiste, Yemi Adeola.

Her passing was confirmed on Saturday by broadcaster Bisi Ajiboye, popularly known as Sogigun, on his Facebook page.

In his post, Ajiboye described the late singer as a “kind-hearted and beautiful soul,” noting that he had spoken with her just a week ago.

He wrote,

“Yemi Adeola was kind-hearted, beautiful in and out. When we spoke last week you never said goodbye! In my experience over the years, I have never seen something shocking and sad like this in my life.”

The post, which has since gone viral, did not disclose the cause of her death.

Yemi Adeola was an evangelist and minister known for her inspiring and uplifting songs and performances.

Some of her notable works include ‘Annual Praise Concert’ and ‘My Praise to the Great Healer,’ among others.

She was a native of Isarun in Ifedore local government area of Ondo State.

Tee Billz has said Sean Diddy Combs who was recently exposed as an abuser is his mentor.

Tiwa Savage’s ex-husband Tunji Balogun aka Tee Billz has taken to his instagram page to seemingly pay tribute to billionaire rapper Diddy hours after a video of him brutally beating his ex partner Cassie in a hotel, surfaced.

Tee Billz posted a photo of the American rapper with his daughter and said he learnt a lot from him. He expressed gratitude for learning from him and narrated how he made certain achievements due to Diddy’s influence.

He added hay he learnt how to be a father from the business mogul who is under allegations of physical, sexual abuse and human trafficking.

He wrote:

I grew up wanted to be you and I achieved certain things in life bcos of you! I’m grateful for everything I learned from you! I’m feeling teaching my kids not to idolise no one but God. I pray for the mental & emotional wellbeing of your children and may God forgive your soul….The best thing I learnt from you is being a father regardless

When followers took his post to mean support for the rapper’s actions, Tee Billz said that he would have killed Diddy if it was his daughter he assaulted.

He wrote:

For the idiots commenting on my last post! It breaks my heart to see my mentor and one time idol go down like that. Diddy will not make it to court alive if Cassie was my daughter! Social media is really for shallow minded people.

Famous Nigerian actress dies in Sudan

Veteran Nigerian actress Fati Usman, popularly known as ‘ Fati slow motion’ has died in Sudan.

The news of the Kannywood actress’ death was confirmed by her relative, and colleagues in the industry.

Fati is said to have died in Abeche in Hausa speaking community in Sudan along Chad border.

Fati was known for using ‘slow motion’ to describe the nature of epileptic economy growth in Nigeria, with many suffering the consequences.

She had marry, and settled down in Sudan, where she was said to have died after brief illness.
